We’re proud to announce that we have enhanced our cloud-based property management software, CICTotal Manager™! Alongside our automated billing capabilities, marketing tools, and tenant management, we have now added Budgeting into our suite of all-inclusive features. With this new tool, you can now digitally set a budget for each of your properties.
Here’s how it works:
- Log into your CICTotal Manager™ account
- Click on the company profile
- Select the tab ‘Budget Creator’
Within the ‘Budget Creator’ tab, you can create a custom budget for each of your properties, setting monthly expense limits for things like ‘Administrative Fees’, ‘Electric, Gas & Water’, and ‘HVAC’. With each budget expense you create, you can also set the time limit in which those projected expenses will be. This allows you to budget for expenses that do not occur every month, like property renovations or the installation of an elevator. In addition to creating Budget Projections that showcase expenses, you can also add income projections like monthly tenant payments, housing payments, and loans!
Once the budget is set on a property, you and your team can run projected budget vs. actual reports, which showcases each month’s current expenses and profits (taken directly from the property’s profit & loss statement), the budget set for that category, and the difference between the two.
